Bible Baptist Church began as a home Bible study in 1960 and grew into a church family that moved into a rented facility on Madison Avenue. Under the leadership of Pastor Walt Fisher, the current church property on 24th Street was purchased. Church members assisted in constructing the first sanctuary which now serves as our Sunday school and office building. In 1980, Pastor John Moore began serving at B.B.C. As the church grew, a new sanctuary was built dedicated in 1985. In 1997, Pastor Alfred Maese began serving at B.B.C. and continues to minister faithfully to the congregation. God has blessed our church with many faithful people who have given and served sacrificially for the furtherance of the Gospel ministry. Our wonderful history encourages us to continue in serving, giving, and going for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Our purpose is to know Christ and make Him know. We believe that magnifying Christ will draw others to Him and give Him the position that He alone deserves. We desire to help others enter into a personal relationship with Jesus and continually grow in that relationship. Our services and ministries are focused on preaching and teaching God's Word. As a family in Christ, we desire that everyone who visits will feel loved and welcomed. We invite you to grow with us in the grace, knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
